Vintage : 1965/6 Allstate
I bought the Sprint 150 a while back and we have an electronic bulletin board at work where you can post things to buy/sell. I posted that i am looking for scooters and parts (mainly parts for the Sprint) and got a call from a guy who had a 1965/6 Allstate with two motors for sale; but the bike was in pieces. I wasnt really planning on buying it until i saw how good of shape it is in. It just needs to be sanded, painted and put back together. The extra motor may be shot but the other looks almost new. He said he is the second owner; but still no title. Ill have pics later. Haven't figured out what year it is either. I may "restore" this one to original, but the Allstates seem pretty common....

I've heard nothin' but YUM about Liuzza's - I'm envious! Those shrimp are the bomb!! And he's right - NOLA is cool, just use your head and the street-smarts you'd use in StL and you'll be fine. Don't step in puddles, don't engage the street folk in conversation, but have some fun! There's lots of it down there!
